Oh, engaged couples. It's been a rough few weeks, hasn't it? It seems like more and more of you are making headlines for bad behavior lately. There was the bride who melted down via text message over the (awesome-sounding!) gift basket she and her new wife received. Then there was the nasty Facebook message sent to a guest from a bride who was apparently displeased with the $100 cash gift the guest had given. ("I just want to know is there any reason or dissatisfaction of Mike's and I wedding that both you and Phil gave 50$ each?") Or the woman who took to the Internet to complain about the fact that many guests did not give gifts to her and her new husband.
What's with these newlyweds' gross attitudes about gifts? Plenty of people are saying the wedding industry is at fault. Older people are blaming Millenials (what with our participation trophies and darn iPod phones and all). Conservatives are blaming Obama. We're just chalking it up to really, really

1. Make a "reasons why" list for tough decisions.
Jacey Eckhart from Herndon, VA, says she complained often during the first few months her husband, Brad Skillman, a naval officer, was living about three hours away in Norfolk, VA, while in port. To regain perspective, she listed all the reasons they chose to live separately-their child's education, her heavy work travel schedule, so her husband could better prepare for his upcoming deployment and more. "Whenever we got tired of living apart, we reread the list and remembered thatRead More »from 10 Marriage-Saving Lessons from Long-Distance Couples

Men have feelings, too! Some men may be even more sensitive than most women. But you will never know it. Showing our emotions is not how we are wired. We are wired to suck it up, to man up, and to avoid confrontation. An article on Your Tango titled, "Men have feelings, too!" shared some of the most hurtful things you can say to a man. Below I will share some of the most devastating things you can do to hurt your husband. If you are doing any of these things, stop today. Maybe your man is "cool with it." But I doubt it. He is probably to proud, or too "manly" to admit it hurts. Click through for 7 ways you're hurting your husband without knowing it! -By Jackie Bledsoe Jr.

Looking for love in all the wrong places.
Have you been doing all the right steps in your "me work" and reflected on your own mistakes that led to breakups? How about following your passions, and yet, there you are, still single?
Yup. We are soul twins.
I even wrote a blog about how if you're sane, normal, can handle being social and open to love, you shouldn't be single.
Read the blog here.
Well, last night was an epiphany for me. As I was sharing my deep, profound and invaluable insight about love and relationships (okay, so I was venting about being single and lonely) with my teenage girls, my younger daughter who is going through a breakup for the first time asked me to stop talking about relationships.
At first I
Girl with Game
We get asked a lot: Why do women need to learn "game"? Can't they have any man they want? This is a question many men and women ask when first learning about our show "The Girl's Game".
Men know that a lot of guys will do anything for a pretty face, and the world is a big place filled with men who have widely different standards of beauty, so surely every woman has a man out there to worship her.
Men are viewing it from the wrong perspective. Sure, women can get attention, interest and even raw, mechanical, passion-less sex.
But what if a woman wants to be appreciated for who she really is, and every guy is focusing on just her looks?
Women don't just want sex. It's always about getting "more then that," regardless of whether she wants a husband or just a fling.
We've asked the following question to dozens of women in our research:
"How many guys have you dated in the last 6 months that you were actually into?"
The answer is usually…two.

The Wrap.It has the making of a Hollywood rom-com—literally. A couple who launched an experiment to find out if they could fall in love in 40 days has inked a deal with talent agency CAA, according to a report published Friday by
Friends Timothy Goodman and Jessica Walsh are the creators of a website called 40 Days of Dating which chronicles their 40-day "trial period" as lovers. The site launched on July 10 and quickly went viral, attracting attention from the blogosphere and Hollywood producers interested in using their story as the premise for potential films.
The New York City based pair are platonic friends wrestling with their individual relationship problems—on their website "Forty Days Of Dating," Goodman describes himself as a commitment-phobe who typically dates multiple women at once, while Walsh is a self-professed "hopeless romantic" who jumps into relationships too quickly. In order to combat these issues and ultimately find true love, the two agreed to date each otherRead More »from What We Learned From the '40 Days of Dating' Experiment
Harold & MaudeA few weeks back when Geraldo Riviera tweeted a topless selfie, a resounding "EWWWW!" went around the Internet. And sure, we get it. It's Geraldo, after all, showing the kind of near-crotch-action that is better suited to Abercrombie & Fitch models. (And he apparently came to his senses pretty quickly: The pic was soon taken down from his Twitter account, replaced by this Tweet: "Note to self: no tweeting after 1am.") But here's the other thing: The dude is seventy. And, you have to admit, he looks pretty good for seventy. Why is it so gross for a man in his seventies to want to show off his bod? Why is the thought of older people being sexual or sensual so ew-worthy in general? On the very rare occasion when you do see an older couple going at it on screen, the horrified reaction in the audience is on a par with when a dog gets blown to bits in an action movie. So we thought we'd share five reasons - according to scientific research - why sex keeps you looking younger. Screw all theRead More »from Top 5 Reasons Why Sex Makes You Look Younger

Dear Em & Lo,
My a-hole live-in boyfriend cheated on me for more than a year before I found out and dumped him. I found out because I was suspicious and snooped on his laptop while he was out and found hundreds of emails between them. I also found photographs of her in these emails. I read the emails from her and she doesn't seem very funny or all that smart, and she's way less attractive than me, too. I'm not a vain person, but I definitely have a better body than she does. I always figured that if he cheated on me, it'd be for someone way hotter and younger, or better than me in some way, someone who offered something I can't. WTF?
- Too Good for This
Who knows why your boyfriend cheated on you with this woman? Maybe she makes a mean blueberry cheesecake, maybe she just luuuurves going down on him, maybe she's rich, maybe she saves baby birds when they fall out of trees, maybe she's going to put your boyfriend in her next movie, maybe she's a good drinking buddy,
