This just in: George Clooney and his girlfriend Stacy Keibler have split after dating for two years, according to People.

The reason for the split was Stacy's decision, it seems:
"Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that. They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago. They talk every day. They were friends before they started dating and they'll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup]."

I'm sad about the breakup because I really liked Stacy and George together, but I can't say I'm too surprised. George is known for loving his bachelor ways--and it looks like Stacy knew if she wanted more from the relationship, she had to cut ties. If she wants a family, then she made the right decision.
What do you think of the breakup? Surprised? Sad? Think it's for the best?

The idea might be to sleep on the beach all week, but consider scheduling at least one excursion that gets your heart rate up. Go for a long bicycle ride, take a scuba diving trip or zip line through the jungle. Simply put, when pushed outside of your comfort zone, your brain releases endorphins that can elevate your mood and senses. You get where we're going with this, right?

Wear a New Piece of Lingerie Every Day
Bring along new pieces for each night of the honeymoon. The reveal is what's so sexy, so have fun with it. Think of themes or even just different colors to help you plan it out. And don't leave him out of it either. Get him, or ask him to get himself, a few new pairs of boxers or boxer briefs (aka, mangerie!) to add to the fun.

Ask any couples therapist what the secret is to a successful long-term relationship and they'll say it's feeling emotionally safe with a partner.
Guess James Williams didn't get that memo—or didn't care to read it. The British prankster (who, according to his YouTube channel, is known for such knee-slappers as mailing old salmon sandwiches to people and filling a cupboard with hair clippings gathered from his local salon) spent what he describes as "weeks" building a puppet version of the super scary little girl from horror movie "The Ring" and fashioning a pulley system that would make it appear to be bursting out of his girlfriend's television while she slept.
Then, he posted a video of her waking up in shock (accompanied by an ear-splitting audio of her terrified shrieks—if you have a dog or small child nearby, lower the volume), which is now going viral. "I worked on it every now and again when the missus was out and hid it in the attic," he wrote on the YouTube channel. The King of Chalices card reversed suggests that old-fashioned traditions may need to be bucked, particularly if a midlife crisis or selfishness is cutting you off from intimacy. Consider diving right in with an alternate approach, as jealousy, obsessing, dreaming or wishing from afar may not be enough to save a sinking ship or a drowning relationship. Tap into the strength of your alter ego in order to rise above sexual dysfunction, depression, emotional numbness or self-destructive behaviors. Let this be the catharsis that turns the tide. If there is no love lost, then jump ship. If you are committed, take the helm and ride it out, for healing and forgiveness may be borne along on the tidal waves of tender love and commitment.

A few years ago, it seemed like film was going to fade away completely. Was anyone else devastated when Polaroid discontinued their classic instant film? Before you moved to L.A. to pursue acting, you were a college baseball player. Can you talk a little bit about those days?

husbandWhen I was growing up I could not wait for the Fourth of July! Although it wasn't Christmas it was one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. I always looked forward to getting sparklers, watching my dad light fireworks, and going to the fireworks display in the park to watch the real fireworks.
Now, July 4th is just like any other day for the most part. I will enjoy some fireworks, but it is mainly about the kids. I will hang out with family and friends, but I could also stay inside to catch up on some work.Have the fireworks in your marriage stopped too?
To be truthful, the same thing can happen in your marriage. When you are young in marriage you can't wait to light a fire, see some sparks, and get "things" poppin'. As you get older in marriage, it can be easy to become complacent and do things mainly for your kids. But that is a recipe for disaster, especially after the kids leave. Just think, how many empty nesters do you see at local fireworks displays? Very few!Read More »from Spicy Spouses: 5 Ways Husbands Can Keep Their Marriages Hot

There's one thing holding you back from a fulfilling, fun, exciting new relationship. Your old relationship. I know, I know. You care(d) about this person a lot, and you haven't found the right time or opportunity to do the breaking up. Or maybe you feel you can't, for some reason. If you know the relationship isn't headed anywhere and you're treading water at this point, you owe it to yourself and the other person to end it and free him or her up to move on. And regardless of what the other person has said or done, this comes down to you and your ability to make a decision to end it.
