A sweet dish that everyone will love this holiday season. Thanksgiving is right around the corner! This easy cranberry and raspberry sauce recipe is a great way to change up the traditional menu, while still enjoying the classic dishes.
Two 12 ounce bags fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup frozen raspberries, thawed
3/4 cup additional sugar
2 Tablespoons orange juice
1/2 tsp orange extract
1. Pour two bags whole cranberries into a 13x9 pan.
2. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes (stir every ten minutes). Sprinkle with remaining 3/4 cup of sugar and stir till dissolves. Stir in raspberries and add 2 tablespoons of orange juice and 1/2 tsp orange extract (you can sub 2 tablespoons orange juice concentrate).
3. Pour sauce in a serving dish and chill until sets.
