• Every year, I celebrate my Happy Canniversary. Yes, you read that right-February 22-the day I was let go from a job where I was unhappy and had still stayed in way too long. Best. Day. Ever. Whether you leave on your own terms or someone else's, sometimes the baggage of a old job, not unlike that from breaking up after a fizzling relationship, can remain with you. And unless you do a boyfriend bonfire-or in this case, a corporate cleanse-it's difficult to move forward if you remain stuck in the past. If you're leaving a bad job-congrats. It's breakup time. Here are four ideas to help you to let go.

One of the most cost effective and proven ways to attract more customers, increase web traffic and build credibility is to offer free teleseminars or teleclasses to your target market. A teleseminar is when you provide valuable information to a group of people who call into a shared bridge line to learn what you are speaking about. When you chose a topic that is relevant and of interest to your target market, you will immediately begin to attract potential customers to hear your lecture. These same people will want to sign up and learn more about you from your website resulting in increased traffic and lastly, by teaching during a teleclass, you are positioning yourself as the expert in your field and allowing people to experience you before they make an investment resulting in a higher conversion rate.

But, to ensure a successful teleseminar, there is a process that you need to take to ensure you are optimizing this marketing strategy to its fullest potential. Here is a 9 step

    Posting About Your Competitors
Even if you swear you'd never work for a rival company and think it's the worst place ever, you really never know. Your office could combine with them in a merger or you might change your mind down the road. Plus, you represent your company. If your rival co. sees a tweet or post that bashes them, they'll think it's coming from your organization. And you do not want to deal with the fallout from that.

    Teasing a Friend
Sure, it's hilarious when your BFF busts out of her too-tiny bikini top, but she doesn't want to hear about it online. Not only that, other people who see your comment or pic will just think you're kinda bitchy.

  • The owner of MildBlend Supply Co. in Chicago posted this surveillance video of a flash mob robbing his store on Saturday. (Photo: YouTube/Mildblendtube)People put a positive spin on the idea of mob mentality with flash mobs, happy groups that came together in a public place to surprise crowds with choreographed dance moves and songs. Then came cash mobs, when well-intentioned consumers boosted sales at a local store by buying up whatever was in stock. Now the flash mob has taken a sinister turn: A Chicago store owner says his shop is the latest to be robbed by a flash mob, when a group of young adults showed up all at once and stole more than $3,000 worth of merchandise.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, at around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday about 20 people entered the Mildblend Supply Co., a clothing store in a trendy part of Chicago, and started scooping up $200-a-pair jeans -- and then walked out of the store without paying for them.

"I see a group of kids. They're coming in the store in a marching way, like a team," the store's owner, Luke Cho, told the newspaper. "After the 15th or 16th teenager was inside I knew something bad was

  • How to protect yourself when your debit card is stolen. How to protect yourself when your debit card is stolen. The news reports have been terrifying. Credit card numbers were stolen from University of Southern California dining halls in May and June, it was recently announced. Although no other personal information was accessed, these types of reports give rise to mass panic, as people envision thousands of dollars being racked up in their name.

In this unpredictable economy, credit card thefts have continued to be an easy target for fast cash. But the panic isn't necessarily warranted. Actually, there is another payment type that you should be worrying about instead.

That's not to say credit card theft isn't inconvenient. You've got to notify companies that are automatically debiting from your card, change how you shop online and carry extra cash for the things you'd normally just slide onto your card.
