Okay, I realize "dog is man's best friend"---but man has taken this too far. Animals are now accessories and coping mechanisms for the lonely. Excluding rescue and service animals and all others contributing in society.
Unless you live in a fairy tale castle, with barriers and you're secluded from the rest of the world there isn't any way to avoid these creatures....even when you have your own home and yard.
I don't want to live in a zoo but, it seems everyone else does. I want to go outside for a jog on the well paved sidewalks without having to worry about stepping in poo. I want to lay and walk in the grass with peace of mind. I would like for the smell of poo to not exist when I exit the breezeway. I don't want Lassie to rub against my freshly laundered pants. I want to have a peaceful sleep without the interruptions of barks. I want to walk out of my front door and not worry about your cute little poodle with razor sharp teeth, who "doesn't bite" or "won't harm a fly"

The bibles were given to us by Protestants. Yes, they were Christians. I thank them for such a gift. My Catholic religion also offered me a lot of prayer books and some story books. My mother bought us a lot of inspirational materials. My favourite was the comic stories of saints published by St. Paul's. The pictures and drawings were attractive, which made me read it more.
In my college years, during some weekends we had bible sharing activities with a priest and a brother in our parish named, "Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage."

Dear GalTime, HELP! I'm getting social media fatigue. FB,Twit, LinkedIn, the new Google thing. Where does it end and how do you know how much to tackle to stay in the loop?
The truth is that it will never end! Social media is here to stay and it's going to play an even larger role in our professional and personal lives moving forward.

If you're in the business world, LinkedIn is an excellent tool. It's not something I use because I find, in my creative line of work, it doesn't help me and it's not as much of a social site as the others.
I'm partial to Facebook-for business and pleasure-and Twitter for both as well, as they serve different purposes.
Facebook is much more of a platform for sharing who you are.
Twitter is more about bursts of information.

You and your partner can't stop arguing over who is the salt and who is the pepper in this relationship. Does it really matter? Tell them to relax in the living room while you cook dinner and don't say a word (try!) when your partner adds salt before even tasting your dish. Try cooking without salt to lower both your sodium intakes.

Setting the Internet A' Twitter
Twitter, the micro-blogging site started in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, sees roughly 5 billion tweets every month, according to the company.
