5 “Miracle” Beauty Products that Deliver

With savvy marketing experts selling us everything everywhere these days it’s really hard to tell the difference between empty promises and full-blown miracles—especially in the case of beauty products. Sure, we’re likely to take an expert’s word for the season’s hottest pumps, ankle boots, or new winter coats, but when it comes down to what we put on our faces, we’re a bit more skeptical. After all, you really can’t judge the moisturizing cream by its container. Luckily, we’ve got access to a committed community of consumers who are happy to share their “miracle” beauty product discoveries—i.e. those that have been tested by real consumers and have proven to produce the results they promise. Some of these we just can’t live without. But don’t take our word for it—read what five Kaboodle shopaholics deem as genuine bang for their beauty-product buck.

1. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
This primer promises to be “the ultimate eye prep for smoother, more vibrant shadow and all-day wear, with absolutely no creasing.” Kaboodler janecool attests, “I tried it and it works. It kept my eye makeup on for over 12 hours. Definitely wait for it to fully dry though.”

2. M•A•C Prep + Prime Line Filler
This primer promises to “camouflage, soften and relax expression lines and wrinkles, and help rejuvenate your look.” Kaboodler erika_sf testifies, “When I slathered it beneath my eyes and went to my best friend’s party, the first thing she asked me was whether I’d had any ‘work done.’”

3. bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation
This mineral power is “made of pure crushed minerals from the earth, looks like a powder, feels like a cream, and buffs on like silk, giving the skin a natural luminosity. It's makeup so pure you can sleep in it.”
Kaboodler eribear12 urges, “If you don't already have bare escentuals- it really is great! I'll never use liquid makeup ever again!!!"

4. Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner
