5 Things Women Wear That Guys May Pretend to Hate But Secretly Like
user
There are a lot of things I
pretend to find distasteful when it comes to what women wear and
how they choose to look... that I actually kind of like. Here are
five...
Some of them are strippery, some of them are trying too hard to
be "classy" (see the manicure below). All are things that
I am embarrassed to admit that I like:
1. Bleach-blonde hair
I actually wouldn’t mind if Blossoms went for it, in that kind of
bad-ass, I’m not even pretending this is my real color, way.
2. French Manicures
I wouldn’t want Blossoms to get one. They seem like they're
trying too hard to be quote unquote classy. (I despise the word
classy.) But I’d be lying if I said I always hated them.
3. High-riding thongs
Again, they don't scream ‘girlfriend material.’ But they do
scream.
4. Lower-Back Tattoos
I know they’re not actually rebellious at this point, and they can
seem cheap (my friend Mindy calls them tramp stamps). But I still
have a weakness.
5. Black bras under white t’s
This is a look I like on pretty much any woman occasionally. Very
Madonna circa ‘Desperately Seeking Susan.’
Do you like that stuff? Do you hate me now?

I hate how it's still somehow taboo for a woman to be tatooed....and calling it a tramp stamp? Your friend is doing her sex a disservice. No one would call a guy with a tatoo on his back a tramp.

I always read "Jake" in Glamour and I always find him annoying. This article is no different.

i don't think this applies to all guys. every guy has a different perspective on what they think is sexy. the only thing i think all men agree on will be Black bras under white t’s and french manicures.

As a carefree college student that wore high-riding thongs and almost got a tramp stamp, I think that I can comment freely.
The tramp stamp is quite ubiquitous. And it screams that same thing as a high-riding thong: CHEAP!

UMMMMM SFCA I hate to break this to you but as a proud owner of a lower back tattoo-- that NO ONE knows is there unless I SHOW it to them-- I'm a far cry from a "tramp", thanks.
I like that Jake talks about what he likes but he's off the market and it's kind of like getting advice from my best friend's husband. I can pretty much take it or leave it.

Its called a tramp stamp for a reason. I know every one i've ever seen....(usually accompanying a thong or extreme low rise pants and a tiny toddler sized t-shirt) has been on some trampy looking chick. Sorry.
Its so played out now. Not even remotely sexy looking.

I have a tattoo on my lower back that I got before the term tramp stamp had been invented. I also have several other tattoos. I also have a sucessful career as a psychologist and a great man who I am marrying tomorrow. I wouldnt call myself a slut and I honestly dont think that you can characterize someone by something so stupid. I think this article is kinda stupid. He's basically saying that he would put up a front in front of his friends and say he doesnt like these things when in reality he does. It is stuff like this and some of the judgemental comments by women that make societies standards of beauty so skewed. It may not be your thing, but someone likes it and everyone has a right to do what they please. Besides, you can be just as cheap and "slutty" with one of those tattoos or thongs as you can without one.
