Want more where these came from? Here are Quick Makeup Tricks and Easy Beauty Rules to live by.

1. Play up your pout - it reminds people you're no pushover - with a deep, dramatic lipstick. Use your finger for a personally stamped finish. Want a fuller effect? Highlight the area above your bow with a brush of gold eyeshadow. From your eyes to your cheeks, pick a feature to play up and take it to the extreme.

3.
Here's a secret for super-smooth, quenched lips: Use your richest eye cream on your lips! Note: Be sure it's a "hydrating" formula, not "firming" - which is code for drying. Have painfully chapped lips? Try this to get them back in tip-top, kissable shape.

4.
To sop up oil and refresh makeup, lightly mist your face with toner, then pat with a tissue, says Eva Scrivo, makeup artist and owner of the eponymous New York City salon. Finish with a dusting of loose powder. You can refresh product-loaded hair too - all you need is this one product.

5.

Olive oil is great, but I don't recommend it for removing eye makeup as it leaves a film on your eyeball, which is hard to rinse off for hours. Try it for moisturizing, and for hand softening with gloves at bedtime.
