A surprising skin save from a dermatologist!

Last Thursday, NIA 24 hosted an event at Bloomingdale's to show off their awesome niacin-infused line. While NIA-lovers were testing products, I asked Dr. Ariel Ostad, a New York City dermatologist, to share the most important thing he tells his patients about skincare. And no, it's not sunscreen (although that is important!). Find out what he said after the jump.

Much to my surprise, Dr. Ostad - shown here with his wife - said juicing was the most important thing you can do for your skin! Juicing (squeezing fruits and veggies into juice), lets you drink more of the skin-saving nutrient-rich parts of the veggie without getting full or bloated like you would if you ate it.

His fave recipe includes: Spinach, Cucumber, Lettuce and Carrots or Lemon for taste.
