All the Dirty-Haired Models Are Using It...

Yesterday, I was told that I would be modeling for a last-minute Luckyshoot, but I hadn't washed my hair in four days. The hairstylist took one look and started spraying huge amounts of Klorane (it's French!) dry shampoo. (I have soft hair, with not enough texture. If I wash it too often it can be detrimental to the messy, bedhead look that I strive for.)

I have always found that most dry shampoos are helpful, but not a true fix. Klorane defies science, making it look like you actually washed your hair. The hairstylist told me that during fashion week, this stuff is completely sold out because the models show up with such dirty hair!

Need a shoe freshener? Find out what else dry shampoo can do for you.

i love love lover klorane dry shampoo. i'd get it in the non-aerosol spray b/c the aerosol tends to get clogged.

I have NEVER used a dry shampoo. Someone explain to me what to expect? I have very curly hair and when I use my flat iron to straighten it, it works best on 2 day dirty hair. I simply cannot let my hair go past 2 (maybe 3) days of oil and styling products. It turns out to be hay if I don't wash it after that time frame.

So what and how, exactly, do dry shampoos work?

HMM I wash my hair everyday! If I skip a day, I feel discusting and dirty and greasy. Plus my husband would tell me to forget sex!

I'm dying to try this product! I can't wash my hair everyday because it is so dry ... it would probably crack and fall right off my head if I did. I use salon shampoo and conditioner to really soften it when I wash it (usually every other day) but would am going to start looking for this dry shampoo.

I used both Klorane and SAMY, SAMY does the same thing for $3-5 that Klorane does for $18. I also have tried Ojon rub-out...honestly after Klorane and SAMY, don't bother.

Dry shampoo works wonders for me I'm Black and I normally wash my hair every 10-12 days or so I've found that the Back to Basics or Philosphy brand works best for me and my BFF who is White also uses the same two brands and she loves it as well! just thought I'd share that it works for all types of hair

Sorry, but I think its absolutely disgusting that people don't wash their hair everyday.. Have you ever smelled what someone's hair and scalp smell like after the shampoo fragrance wears off? Putrid! Not to mention that you can totally tell that the hair is unwashed by obvious oily roots..
