Are Brunettes Better Than Blondes? We Think So.
user
Blondes may have more fun,
but this season brunettes are the ones turning heads. Right now
the most striking brunette shade in Hollywood is extra
dark (ranging from the richest espresso to jet black).
Take cues from these stars with deep brown locks we
can't resist. If you're looking to trade in your signature
blonde locks this fall, you may want to try a semi-permanent color.
"It's low-commitment since the color only lasts through 28
shampoos," says Marcy Cona, Clairol Creative Director of Color
and Style. If you like the shade, wait until it fades and then
apply a permanent version.
Here's how to get the perfect shade of Brunette right at
home.
We just adore Fergie's new darker shade. Do you
like her better as a blonde or brunette?
And, don't forget to tweak your makeup if
you're going from a lighter shade to a darker
one. A darker hair color requires a few key
makeup changes, says Kim Soane, Director of Artistry at Bobbi
Brown. Here are the tips she recommends:
1. Darken your brows by using either a shadow or
a brow pencil that matches your new hair color.
2. Choose darker eyeliner colors, like espresso or black, to keep
your features from looking washed out.
3. Use black mascara, not brown. You need more intensity now that
you’ve gone darker.
4.
Try richer lip colors like berries, plums, and reds.
Here are our fave picks for fall.
5. Go for dark brown and gray eye shadows. Both look beautiful, not
stark, with brunette hair.
Are you planning to go from blonde to brunette this fall? If
you're already a brunette, what are you tips for keeping your
color rich and shiny?

A woman can turn heads regardless of her hair color, to think that way is shallow and vain. Iv'e been each and every hair color at some point, none of it matters.
