At Allure's "Most Alluring Bodies" party some were pretty, some confusing, some sad

So on Wednesday night Allure magazine and Lancome hosted their Most Alluring Bodies event—which was part photography exhibit and part skin cancer research benefit. People like Katherine McPhee and Hilary Duff were the ones who showed up, but the art auctioned off was of celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Kate Moss and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. It's confusing. So was what some of them wore...

The Pretty

I don't really know what she's doing with her
singing career, nor why she married that much older man,
but Katherine McPhee, looks very beautiful here.

You know, this dress is a little weird, but
the shoes and bag are beyond hot, and well,
honestly, for me the Duff can do no wrong.

The Confusing

Seriously Ginnifer Goodwin, I already find
you suspect for spelling our name that way,
must you make things worse with this
perplexing outfit? The dress is a little
prairie-ish, (or maybe Mormon-ish? hmmm),
the shoes are too dark for this, and
I think you'd look way prettier if you
stood up straight.

This is why this is confusing:
Lydia Hearst is a socialite and I feel like as
a socialite—one who basically gets attention
for dressing up and going to things—she
should know that the length of this dress is
unflattering, especially with those honkin'
ankle-strap shoes that cut her pretty legs
basically in half.

The Sad

Dear Sara Wynter, Which salesgirl told you "Oh my
God, polka dots are totally in! That looks fabulous
on you!" because I think we should hunt her down and
shave off her eyebrows.

I feel bad because think Carey Lowell is probably
a nice person (I mean, she's married to super-
Buddhist Richard Gere) but why did she have
to wear something so dowdy and just
insanely ordinary on the red carpet?

I FEEL LIKE NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE LIKE TO WEAR. IF THEY FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE WEARING THEN THATS WHAT COUNTS. PEOPLE SHOULD KEEP THEIR COMMENTS TO THEMSELFS. gimom58

    Fashion is an unforgiving mistress.

Trust your instincts and then ask your best friend what she thinks ... ten to one she will lie to you! LOL!

And to be completely honest all of the looks posted look awful.

Ok, Hills shoes look sexy but she might be too young for them. Sexy shoes are awfully big shoes to fill.
