Report AbuseI kid you not I just went shopping for the same thing- only I am going to Australia. Right now Sierra Tradin Post is having a big sale and they sell dresses and such. I just bought about $300 worth of stuff for about half that! Go to sierratradingpost.com, the sale ends today. Good luck!

Report AbuseBe careful on packing only dresses and make sure to mix in shorts and pants. You do a lot of walking and if you only have dresses/skirts, you may have to deal with painful chafing.
For shoes, I would go for what's comfortable because you want to make the best of your trip without dealing with swollen feet at the end of the day.

Report AbuseVictoria's Secret actually has some great classic t-shirt dresses you might try. Also the shirt dress that has been in style is very practical and you can probably find them just about everywhere right now. And Born shoes are great--I got a pair of flip flops for my last trip to Europe. But you will definitely want a pair of sneakers or hiking shoes some days--just find a cool looking pair!

Report AbuseDefinitely take one nice dress and a pair of nice shoes... wedges are great if you are walking on cobblestone streets! Also bring cardigan sweater or shawl as you can't go into certain places like a church if your shoulders aren't covered. Remember even though you are being a tourist - Europe is much dressier that the United States, in a lot of places shorts and sneakers are not proper dinner attire. I hope his helps, HAVE FUN!

Report AbuseI am currently living in Europe and I can tell you that the most important things to pack are: a pair of flip flops (durable ones, you don't want to buy them here...they are rather expensive), comfortable sneakers, a sweater/hoddie/etc for those cold nights, a pair of jeans (weather here can get tricky) and then light clothes (i.e.: tops, tank tops, shorts and skirts). If you want to dress it up then wear a nice dress with cute flip flops! This overall can fit in a backpack.
Hopes this helps!
