Do you think your dude should wear makeup?

Or maybe I should say, would your dude wear makeup?

I came across a news story out of the Midwest saying that man makeup is going mainstream -- eek! I'm not saying that men shouldn't be allowed to enjoy the benefits of a great foundation (like the ones on this list) or concealer, but full-on makeup? Not so much. Yeah it works for rock stars and guys like American Idol contestant Adam Lambert (pictured). But I don't think the average dude can pull off the whole makeup thing. And call me crazy, but I don't think brands like CoverGirl or Clinique (see their best and worst products here) will be making guy-specific makeup lines anytime soon. But maybe I'm wrong.

What you do you think? Yay or nay for dudes wearing makeup?

At least guys in makeup wouldn't be as scary as these chicks.
If you think I'm being unfair, share these top-rated products with your guy.
If a dude is going to wear concealer he better watch this video first.

No! No way. The only time a guy should ever wear makeup is if he is a celebrity/politician and is on film or having pictures taken. Not for everyday use.

My boyfriend wears eyeliner. I find it incredibly attractive. It shows that he is comfortable with himself and his masculinity enough that he doesn't have to fake being some big tough manly man. And, because I know people are going to question, he is entirely heterosexual. Really.

"What you do you think? Yay or nay for dudes wearing makeup?" should really say, "What you do you think? Yay! We're gay!... for dudes wearing makeup."

To clarify, I don't feel that men SHOULD wear makeup, but if they choose to do so, than they have every right to.

There is no way my husband would EVER wear makeup. And thank God because I would not be comfortable with him wearing eyeliner or anything. To each his own though, if he wants to and his gf/wife is fine with it, that's great. Are we saying that Adam Lambert isn't gay? I kind of find that hard to believe but maybe. I mean, he looks like a girl. His eyes are a nice, pretty blue, accentuated by that thick, black liner, haha.

Adam Lambert seems to wear more than just eye makeup. He always looks as if he has a trowel full of foundation on too.

I don't see much difference between wearing eye make up and wearing nail polish, earrings, tats, coloring their hair and all the other cross over stuff guys do. I say, to each his own.

Lol sickleberry! On Johnny Depp, cool, beautiful; on this guy, gay. But who cares if he's gay. I can't see normal guys wearing foundation and the whole thing, but sure if they are ok with it. Variety is the spice of life I say. They look funny in short skirts tho, nobby knees and all.
