Does Laura Mercier Liquid Liner Work For Me?

This morning, I stopped by the new Laura Mercier Lash Bar at Henri Bendel and got some subtle fake lashes added just at the outer corner of each eye. Love them--they look seriously real, and
took all of five minutes--but the makeup artist also did liquid liner, which I always think looks too obvious on me...it's something about my half-lidded eye shape. I usually skip liner entirely. What do you think?
