I read your list of what NOT to buy...Are there any eye creams you recommend?

When you read stuff like this, you believe it, but not everyone has the same skin. It's mostly accurate, but there are people where those things work like magic. You never know.

I have incredibly sensitive skin, but want something that is preventative as well as a treatment. I'm a (personal) fan of Origins Organics skin care line (the cleanser and toner), and their recently expanded Youthtopia collection. They have an eye cream, face cream, face lotion and their newest addition: a Youthtopia Serum. I love these products... my skin continues to look soft, glowing, clear and non-irritated with these products. For my nighttime regime, I use their Night-a-Mins eye and face creams, along with the Make a Difference underneath. (Ideally, you should use a different regime for day than for night, as your you put your skin through different elements during the day than when you sleep at night). As pointed out by flowergirl, different skins will react in different ways, I just thought I'd put in my recommendations. :-)

I am inclined to agree with flowergirl above. Skin care is a personal program. What works for some may not work for others. It all depends on getting the right skin product for your specific skin type. However, with that said, there are also alot of products, as mentioned above, that really do not offer any benefits to your skin care program. Cosmetic companies make a whole lot of claims and that is about it. I make alot of my skin care products, such as toners, and DIY facials, etc. You can read some of my blog posts here to get some recipes and learn more about skin care products.

I have been through so many skin care products myself. I have combination skin, and sensative skin. I cannot bear spending more than a few dollars for a simple cream.
Some make me break out. Some make me itch so bad I had to wash it off moment after application. Some are downright greasy. Some do nothing. Winter skin/ Summer skin differences in what I can use too.
What I have found that works, is not allergenic. In the winter I use plain old AVEENO. It keeps my skin hydrated and helps with seasonal dryness, and lasts all day. And I can use it on the sensetive skin near my eyes without having a reaction.
Summer I like to use one called PURIST. From Sally Beauty Supply. It is an organic one, lighter and not oily. Gives just enough moisture. And again I can use it around my eyes without a problem. With no breakouts or reactions .
I am sorry but spending more than ten buck for a cream seems a bit ridiculas to me.

I can not believe you can sit here and tell me not to buy these creams because they did not work for you!! Everyone has different skin and i am just guessing that you must have alot of wrinkles.. and to be frank with you there is no cream out there that will make them dissapear the creams only make them less noticable and smaller.. once you get a wrinkle.. thats it THATS WHY THE BEST THING TO DO IS PREVENT THEM!! BY ALWAYS WEARING SUNBLOCK!! IF YOU MOISTORIZE YOUR FACE EVERYDAY AND USE SUN BLOCK AND DONT SMOKE I GAURANTEE YOU THAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE THAT MANY WRINKLES WHEN YOU GET OLDER!! also umm.. its vital to make sure that you have a good cleaning routine... always remove make up wash your face, moustorize and wear sun block!!!

I would add that olay regenerist is a great line for people who don't want to spend thousands of dollars a year on product. Men can use it too, it has a light, clean feeling; and fresh subtle scent. I would add night repair by estee lauder, and ultimate youth face and eye creme.
You will wake up one day and you will look five years younger. Also Lancome is coming out with a serum this spring that is supposed to work on the cellular level. Worth a try!

Sometimes people forget to follow the instructions on various products and get upset when they dont see results. The results they have on the package are only seen when you follow the instructions verbatim and wait the usual 4-6 weeks to notice results.
