    • Weirdest guest: Mickey Rourke. Is he giving Max Azria bunny ears?!
    • Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb were backstage filming a segment for "The Today Show."
    • Lucy Liu looks stunning.
    • The only makeup models wore for this show was airbushed on using the Temptu Airbrush Makeup System ($225 at Sephora). It's easy to use, not messy, and leaves a natural, gorgeous sheen to the skin. Straightened ponytails were the official 'do, and these nets kept them from getting messed up backstage.
    • Side slits look cool, but you'll have to carefully select your undergarments!
    • A Swarovski crystal overlay sits atop a black, semi-sheer tunic. Again, not the most practical, but so pretty.
    • This netural panel dress was one of my favorites.

Weirdest guest: Mickey Rourke. Is he giving Max Azria bunny ears?!

Max Azria was one of the prettiest shows I've seen all week. There's no doubt in my mind that we'll be seeing much more of these dresses. Well, the gorgeous gowns were no surprise, but you know what was? Seeing Kathie Lee Gifford and Mickey Rourke backstage. Crazy, right? See for yourself!
