'Fess Up: Do You Ever Bum Lip Balm Off Your Buddies?

I'm fairly paranoid about germs. I was this way even before the whole swine flu thing. For example, not only do I rush to the bathroom and wash my hands first thing after riding the subway, I grab the subway pole as high up as my arm can reach because I assume fewer hands have grasped that zone than the section of pole at comfortable arm level. Despite such semi-insane precautions, however, I'm ashamed to admit: I am a lip-balm bummer/sharer.

I know, I know--raunch. Why not just lick a subway pole while I'm at it. But when I find myself out on the town sans easy access to any sort of lip product, I panic. I'm a balm addict and my lips dry out fast, so I'm all too quick to bum balm or gloss off one of my good friends. In turn, I can't exactly refuse when they bum some balm in return. Thus, we basically pass little germy petrie dishes around and around our group.
