partner
Today's beauty find: Frutels uses chocolate to clear
your skin from pimples!
What it is: Gone are the days when chocolate had a
bad rep for causing pimples. Our new discovery? Frutels: dark

right?

Frutels.com to order the candy or

beauty food, but Frutels offer a full refund if you are not
satisfied within 60 days!

I am EXTREMELY skeptical of this product, but if I can eat chocolate in the name of clearing up my skin, I'm all for it! :)

So basically, from what they claim, you can get the same results from taking a vitamin supplement and eating sugar free dark chocolate (Hershey makes sugar free 60% dark chocolate.) The site doesn't even say the percentage of dark chocolate it contains, which is bothersome. I can't imagine that this product actually works... even worthless products will sometimes carry a "money back guarantee." I say for acne eat right and use appropriate skin care products and you will get better results that spending an enormous amount of money on what comes down to vitamin enriched sugar free dark chocolate.

the only proven food to cause acne is milk products. especially skim. i switched to drinking organic milk because i heard the hormones in the cows gets passed to the milk, and the hormones we ingest messes with our own and causes acne... i dont know if that part is true. but ever since i switched to organic milk and yogurt, my face has been a lot clearer.

Well, I grew up on a dairy farm and drank fresh milk everyday
and I didnt have acne, and I drank alot of milk. Now, I drink
skim milk as do my children and still none of us have acne,
and I also eat cheese and yogurt everyday. I that like back
in the day when they said chocolate and tater chips caused
acne?

unagaii-Dairy has NOT been proven to cause acne. If you read the results of the studies, there was a very weak correlation between the two that scientists have decided are worth additional study, but it was just a correlational relationship, NOT a causal one.
Besides, organic dairy products are just dairy products that have limitations on the kinds of grasses and feed that the cows eat. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you didn't eliminate dairy from your diet when you switched to organic. You're still getting the same amount of dairy as before.

CLEAN YOUR SKIN, DRINK LOTS OF WATER, NEVER TOUCH YOUR FACE- all wonderful ideas to stop acne. Everyone is so different, things work differently for different people. Some things that may not work on you, will work wonderfully for someone else. Try using toothpaste on small pimples to reduce them. It DOES work.
