Hmm. Fergie tops People's Best Dressed list?

People magazine's annual Best & Worst Dressed issue came out on Wednesday and, well, I feel perplexed. Among its best dressers are Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron and Heidi Klum--all very pretty and well-turned-out, but also all incredibly expected and even a little boring. But the editors also included Fergie in the awesomely dressed category and...I'm completely stumped. I mean, sure, sometimes the Black Eyed Peas singer looks OK in a classic, predictable way; but more often than not, she's photographed wearing something horrendous, like the outfit at left.

The magazine goes on to trash the style of ladies like Paula Abdul and Lucy Lui, praise Michelle Obama and Sarah Palin and wonder what happened the night Lindsay Lohan went home wearing someone else's $11,000 fur coat.
