So, I'm feeling completely ambivalent about
Project Runway
this season. I'm still mad at it for its upcoming move not only to the
Lifetime channel, but also to
L.A., and change of producers (it'll
potentially be run by the people who brought you
The Real World. Ugh).
Even though I still find it engaging, I don't feel like investing any
more devotion into a show that is about to completely vault the shark.
All the changes have, however, made me nostalgic for episodes past—for
the old, un-self-conscious contestants and for many of their designs—a
lot of which you can buy on
eBay. Even though I didn't like her
personally,
this style by Victorya Hong would be
perfect for fall; I'd love to wear this fun, bright
Rami Kashou piece right now; and I don't even know how much I'm into
this Alison Kelly dress, but I do know I really, deeply loved the contestant who created it.
