Kate Moss for Top Shop: Stick to the tops
editor
Here's the thing about Kate Moss's new line for Top Shop: I bet it looks great on Kate Moss. There are tight, bandage-breast dresses, oddly cut (and overly designed) gowns
and three—count 'em—three different kinds of short shorts. If I were Kate Moss, I bet I'd look good in this stuff. If I were me...I'd wear the tops. You can see (and buy) the entire line
here; I've picked my top five favorites below.
Cute cardigan, correct? I'd wear it with any kind of jeans, a lacy camisole, and simple flats. Or, over a pared-down tank dress with brown leather wedges and a long-strap saddle bag. [
Long Sleeve Cardigan]
More stripes, I know. But I like this for work with a red skirt, heeled sandals and a black jacket or cardigan. Also (scary, I know) could be tucked into high-waisted jeans. [
Striped Scarf Tee]
I'm into the sweet, summery, hippie vibe of this blouse. And, it actually has a very flattering cut—it'd cover a pooch, flabby arms and back fat all without having to wear that pesky Spanx bra.[
Butterfly Top]
OK. Caught. It's a dress, but I'm making an exception. This is so easy and feminine and airy and in the warm weather you'd just need flat sandals and earrings and you'd be ready to walk out of the house. [
Broderie Anglaise Dress]
These 100% leather sandals are everything I want in a summer shoe: flip flop in comfort, dressier in aesthetic.[
Ibiza Sandal]
