The photoshop thing has gotten completely out of hand. I would like
to see a worldwide model strike that included all of their
contracts having anti-photoshop clauses. Let the adverts create
their own models digitally (way more time and money than the shoot
and enhancement) and see how well the magazines sell with
completely fake images in them cause lets face it, that's
exactly what we have now. I work in graphic design and the use of
digital enhancement in adverts is increasingly abused. Nothing in
the magazines are real anymore and honestly I've disgusted to
look at them for the last ten years when I started graphic design
school and trained my eyes to notice all of the minor changes that
are made, but the changes being made recently are anything but
minor!

Everyone needs to watch that movie and pay extremely close
attention to it's emphasis! Then watch Cher's old 80's
flick with Eric Stoltz
"Mask"
And learn to be just a little less shallow cause we are all
different, we are all beautiful, and forgive me for quoting
Jennifer Love Hewitt but, "If we all looked the same we'd
be boring!"

Yes, real women have curves. Thank you. We are not all skin and bones like death warmed over. I am 5 ft 2 in and weigh 143 lbs. size 12 petite and no flab on this gal. It's all firm and womanly. I stopped trying to diet and get back to 120 lb. when I kept reading weight loss stories of how these women lost 50 lbs. to now be 152 lbs. and are ecstatic at how "thin" they are. Wow, if they can be excited about 152, I should be ok with my 143. I look just as good as they do and they don't look so bad. So women, quit killing yourself over trying to get into thos jean you could last year and go out and buy yourself some new Calvin's a size bigger and go for a walk to firm up those wonderful thighs. Embrace your womanhood. Have a great week end. Fall is in the air. Time to light the fireplace and snuggle.
