6/8 of these products are tested on animals. That means just a fourth of them are cruelty-free.

25% is an F you for this list. Get over yourself and swoon over products that don't break hearts.

I'll add a few - Cetaphil Cleanser and Moisturizing Cream. I know, they're boring basics, but they are in lots of bathrooms and have stood the test of time because they do what they say they will do, without irritation. Another one is Nivea Creme(the German version in the 99-cent tin). I use the first two regularly, however the Nivea, although I liked it, it made my face break out. Lots of people swear by it though. Pantene shampoos and conditioners - lots of people especially hair stylists love to slam Pantene and say how bad it is for your hair, but lots of people come back to this when the expensive stuff doesn't work any better, including myself.

I can really only say that 2 of these on this list are "can't live without" products for me: vaseline and Olay's beauty fluid. The other product that I can't live without is my Aveeno lotion. It is the best, hands down, lotion ever. I have tried TONS of brands, expensive and inexpensive, and Aveeno is by far superior.

Okay serisouly, eww. There is not a single product on this list that I would touch. Nutrogena Body oil, Oil of Olay, Vaseline? I feel greasy and nasty just READING them!! Pantene is horrible for your hair, and Chanel No. 5 smells bad. And $9 for a lipstick??! No thanks.

I'll stick with better qualility (and still reasonably priced) products that I already use, thanks.

Chanel No. 5 stinks. I got some for Christmas and got rid of it. I suppose if you're older and like more "mature" scents, then this is perfect for you.

I have never used most of the products on this list. I have used the Vaseline and the Pantene shampoo. Pantene shampoo smells good, but dries my hair out. I have much better results using Herbal Essences Color me Happy, which protects my color treated hair. But I dont even have any Vaseline in my home currently! This list sounds like it may be your personal list and not a general one.

Vaseline is a multi-use product, which is terrific for those on a budget. Also, Olay, Neutrogena and Pantene make products that consistently get rave reviews among beauty experts. The extra good thing about those brands is that there are much cheaper drugstore house-brand versions that deliver the exact same ingredients.
