Really, I don't have the money to spend $80 on a perfume. Seriously.

Since Pantene was mentioned, I just have to put this out there...my hair stylist told me that Pantene has wax in it...and I'm sure other shampoos do too. She said that when you first start using Pantene your hair is very soft, blah blah blah...then after awhile, you get a waxy build up. She said she has heard of people using Suave or White Rain to get the wax build up out of their hair. I'm sticking to Pureology...yeah it's a bit expensive, but it's one of the few things I splurge on so I'm ok with it! :o)

I'm gonna go down the list:
8) I've been using Noxzema since I was 12. It's the only cleanser I know that will take all the dirt and oil off of your face without overdrying your skin or cause breakouts. And I don't know where they're getting the price from it cost about $3.00 at the Walmart I go to.
7) I use vaseline for everything from my chapped lips to dry skin. It's also great to use for the winter time; it helps protect your skin from frostbites. This is a classic that should never go away.
6)I use Olay, but only the soap. I've never heard of this.
5)I haven't use this but the ColorStay Lip Color literally stays on. Literally.
4) I like Pantene, but like Sarah said, it does cause wax build-up in your hair the more you use it. I'm not sure about the shampoo, but I have use the hairspray before and it feels awful in my hair.
3) Who the hell would pay $80 for some perfume? It probably smells bad too.
2) Never tried it, I personally like Tresemme Shampoo and Conditioner. It leaves your hair feeling silky soft
1)I use alot of Neutrogena products, but i've never heard of this one. I think I might try it.

I really couldn't live without Vaseline. My mom used it on us when we were little, from chapped lips, to dry skin, it sooths rug burn, and protects against windburn. I still keep a jar of it on my nightstand and put it on my lips every night before bed. Yeah, everyone who sees it makes fun of me and wonders why I have it, but they obviously haven't used it! I also love Olay's original face moisturizer. It's another one my mom always used. It's one of the only ones that isn't $15 or more, and my face feels nice and not greasy. I haven't used Noxema in years, but the smells of it reminds me of my grandma's house, and I would certainly try it again! I am not a fan of Pantene hairspray..it weighs my hair down. The other stuff I haven't used, but would try.

noxema is the only thing i can vouch for that does what it says it does. Its been around for years and takes off every bit of makeup and dirt and leaves your skin soft without over drying. I recently rediscovered it when my mom came to visit and left it behind. I tried it again and the fresh clean smell made me think of my teen years. Ive been using it for a week and I love it. I may not go back to my Clinique cleanser.

A good idea for a list, but so many of these products contain harsh chemicals and additives that may end up being bad for your skin/body/hair in the long run. It's is hard to choose something expensive, but when you think that you're going to have to live with your face for the rest of your life, aren't you worth a little bit more of an investment?

I agree about Noxema, I use it every night as part of my cleaning routine before bed. I have for years. Whenever I try something different, my face doesn't feel clean, or I break out. I'm sticking with that one, and at my local walmart, it's only about 3 bucks. 80$ is a large splurge these days, and I'm not spending it on perfume, the rest of these items, I could live with out.
