On top of my intense brunette loyalty, I guess I take issues with brunettes changing teams, so to speak. If a woman was blonde in her youth and wants to maintain that color, I have no problems with her lightening. But brunettes going blonde—for shame!
Earlier this week when pictures emerged of Kim Kardashian with lightened locks, I felt like she forfeit her own identity—she looks so much like J.Lo and Beyonce now! Not to mention, the hair color is so close to her skin tone she looks completely washed out. In most cases I believe that your natural hair color truly looks the best.

But upon further research I realized something even more disturbing: Leighton is a NATURAL blonde! She dyed her hair dark for the part of Blair Waldorf and now she was actually dyeing her hair back, closer to it's original hue. Umm... umm... I'm at a loss. Perhaps I identify Leighton as a brunette because I never knew her as anything else, but her dark brown hair just suits her so well! I can't believe she's a blonde. I'm in total denial. She looks better as a brunette, don't you think?
Do you have strong hair color identity, or do you love to dye? Do you think Kim and Leighton look better as blondes or brunettes? [People][People]
