RACHAEL RAY IS SWEET AND MICHELLE MALKIN IS A LUNATIC ALARMIST!!

"Thank you for sharing your comments.  We always appreciate hearing from our customers.  The intent of the online ad featuring Rachael Ray wearing a paisley silk scarf was to promote iced coffee.  Given the surprising and truly unfortunate interpretation of this ad from some of our consumers, we decided to pull the ad and replace it with another as it is no longer serving its intended purpose, which was to simply promote our iced coffee---nothing more, nothing less.

At Dunkin' Donuts, we value all of our customers and remain steadfastly committed to making your experiences with us both memorable and pleasant.  Thank you, again, for making us aware of your concerns; it is appreciated " (note: no period at the end of that sentence...)

THIS IS THE RESPONSE TO MY EMAIL INFORMING DUNKIN DONUTS I WOULD NEVER STEP FOOT IN THEIR STORES AGAIN.  NOTICE THERE IS NO MENTION OF "OH PLEASE COME BACK WE DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR BUSINESS, WE WILL PUT THE AD BACK ON SINCE OUR PULLING IT OFFENDED YOU SO MUCH!"

Good stuff! The cowards over at DD can't seem to take a stance on anything, even a desire to keep their customers!

your comment about "I have made it easy, since I don't get a tip on my job I don't leave one. End of story!" Is absurd! Servers make on average 2.13 an hour, in which taxes eat up every bit of, get you everything you ask for and have to pay a percentage of your bill regardless of the tip. You need to seriously reconsider your position. If you expect good service you need to pay for it!

This is in response to your comment about tipping. Just because you work where tips to not apply doen NOT justify not tipping those who's job, and PAYCHECK, is based on tips. It's not the fault of waitstaff, bartenders, ect that the govt. and state sets their pay rate as low as $2.30 an hour, keep that in mind the next time you go out. If it does not make a difference to you, stay home, end of story!

I just read your comment on the blog from the BA foodist that "if I don't get a tip for my job so I don't tip others for their job" You are an ignorant lunatic!! You probably get paid to do your job, the RESTAURANT unfortunately EXPECTS you to tip the server as their wage. Servers only get 2.15 an hour, not $6.00, not $8.00, not even $12.00...$2.15. The server has to work hard for the rest of the wage, by taking care of you, your family and friends. So please don't take your frustrations out on your server, he or she will work very hard for you, but ultimately they are working hard for the money that they get from you to live on. Have an open mind and try to see this from the other side of the fence!

It makes me die a little inside to know how truly ignorant you are.

You don't get tips at your job because you are paid above legal minimum wage.

Servers make a minimum of $2.13, and almost 95% of that is taken away in taxes, so if they even get a paycheck, it's less than $10 for a fulltime week of work.

That's because the government assumes that they will make tips.

At most restaurants, they are taxed on at least 15% of their gross sales.

So, if you don't give them that, you are essentially stealing from them.

If you stiff a waiter, it costs THEM money to wait on you, since they're paying taxes on a tip you never left.

Do everyone a favor and stick it to your kitchen or eat Wendy's, moron.

Another "I don't tip" comment... you are complete low-life trash, but you probably already knew that.
