She-Tried-It Tuesday: The Fake Pedicure

I snapped this photo of my friend's toes at the gym the other morning, not because she had the most flawless pedi I've ever seen, but because she'd done a completely rushed, bootleg pedi using Incoco dry nail-polish appliques (Avon makes these, too). The glossy red looks just like normal liquid polish, no? And had she taken more time to properly prep her nails and follow instructions, this faux pedi might even be on par with the salon kind. Have you guys tried these stickers yet? Got any other beauty shortcuts to share in time for lazy summer?

Or do you simply succumb to the chipped-nail polish phenomenon?

yes i tried the avon one and its nice and quick but when u wash dishes or take a shower the sticker-polish peels off so u just have to rub it back into place. but i think its too pricey for a one time shot so i prefer to just purchase a $5 nail polish and use it a million times...

I'm to cheap to shell out for the stickers. I'd rather save my money for things like, well, your friend's fabulous sandals. Where are they from???

I absolutely love the Avon nail enamel stickers. I use the french tips and they last for weeks unlike a real mani from the salon. I always get great compliments as well!
