Should men wear heels?

Sales of men's high-heeled shoes are up in British department stores, according to a story by the UK Telegraph, and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is believed to be to blame. It seems her husband, the diminutive President Sarkozy, has been been donning two-inch platform shoes (while Ms. Sarkozy wears flats) to balance out their height differential during official outings.  The look, such as it is, has gained attention among Europe's short and stylish and UK businessmen have apparently followed, um, suit—the popularity of shoes like Jeffrey West's "Decadent and Dandy" lace-ups which sport a two-inch heel, has surged in recent weeks. Hmmm, I don't really see those evolving into a stilleto pump, which would be better if only for the humor factor to see men mincing around with their toes pointed inward to maintain their balance, LOL! As for the question, hey, why not? They actually don't look bad, and if they bring about a bit more fashionability among the average man, all the better. Maybe Nike will try to get out a high heel basketball pump!

It still looks masculine, (not stilettoes) so why not. Great confidence and social booster for many without harm.

A guy who can pull off a certain amount of gender-bending androgyny is sexy to me. But not many can do it well and there's a fine line between clever and stupid. This pretty much says, "kick my ass."

I dont think that men should wear heels, it seems to me that if a man or should i say metro-sexual should just make due with what god gave them. They should feel lucky that society doesn't put pressure on them to wear sky high stillettos to look good. Personally if i saw a man with heels on i would tell him he better wear a dress too cuz it is just plain strange!!!!!

I don't see why not. Women wear/use way crazier contraptions to change or enhance their looks. Men should be able to do the same...

Guys have been wearing heals for years. Remember Prince's shoes? I think if the guy can pull it off, go for it.
