Fox
First of all, what is up with all these ladies not wearing underwear? I grew up with hippie parents, but nowhere in my upbringing was I taught that you could or should forego undies to avoid a VPL (visible panty line). In this case, why were seamless bikinis, boy shorts or thongs all negated beneath a skimpy dance costume that would be spinning and twirling in front of America? Same goes for Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and every other female in Hollywood who has fallen victim to up-skirt photos when getting out of a car or dancing on tables in a club. If you do choose to go commando, wouldn't you be extra careful to not expose yourself? Especially when you know you have hundreds of cameras on you?
We also must wonder why Fox, the channel that aired this crotch-baring episode of "SYTYCD" during prime time, did not edit out the segment in question. The show is taped, not aired live. Perhaps they need to re-title the show "So You Think You Can Flash," or "Flashdance." Oh no, that one's taken.
For those curious about the TV moment, you really can't see anything, but you know what's there. The clip is out there on the internet if you so wish to find it, but we'll avoid posting it here to spare the dancer further embarrassment.
