Style Evolution: From Trash and Vaudeville to Bergdorf Goodman

Sometimes I like to shake things up a bit, but I can't exactly show up at the office looking like I did in high school - punk/new age-ish with an anarchy symbol shaved into my head (and I don't even think I knew what anarchy was at the time). A typical outfit for me was camouflage pants, combat boots, an oversize sweater, Indian scarves, throw in a little snake print - et viola! I even stole a seatbelt from an airplane once and wore it around as a belt paired with my toilet bowl plastic earrings. I'm not joking. My favorite stores were Patricia Field, Trash and Vaudeville, Andy's Chee-Pees and Reminiscence. Today it's more Bergdorf Goodman, Zara, Barneys, Filene's Basement. How much fun would it be to wear these outfits again? How has your style evolved?
