The first blog...hmmm???!!! YAHOO, I LOVE YOU!!!

Well, I didn't even know I had this little blog spot out there, but now that I've found it, I think it's really cool!

I have a lot of things that I like, but the top of the list is MACHINE EMBROIDERY! I am a fan of FREESTANDING LACE...and if I can figure out how to post a picture, I will someday post one of some lace I have made.

I have some software also, that I use to digitize and create embroidery designs. I love art work, and I have drawn my own designs for years. I am in the process of building a new website that will feature my designs and when I get it online, I will post the web address here. I have a young daughter who has Autistic tendencies, and I created a doll for her, so together, she and I want to see how many others would be interested in the embroidery designs, and /or buying a doll. It will be a fun experience for her, and for myself too. We were interested in finding out if there was anything else like it out there, so I have done searches, and gone to a lot of the big craft shows like the Buckler's Craft Shows, and we have never seen anything like what I made. I have sent my work to the Library of Congress to be officially on the record that I created these designs, and I hold a registered copyright....Just in case!

We homeschool, so it will be a great experiment in business for us to learn together. I have learned a lot of things that I never was exposed to in school. We are having a wonderful time, and we are having a fantastic journey through the world together! I'm looking forward to writing about it here!
