I've been to about a dozen shows this week and I've stared at the photos from dozens more and, well, I feel a little nervous. Sure, there will be tons of pretty dresses and tops next season, some very cool, retro-inspired bathing suits and soft jackets that will be easy to pull off. But stores will also stock things that are deeply alarming--like full-length man-at-work jumpsuits, MC Hammer pants, acid wash jeans and shoes that look like torture devices. And that's just for women. Men will be asked to wear sheer, silky blouses, skorts and (oh, I'm not kidding) tutus. It's terrifying. Above, a round up of the worst I've seen so far.

    the de-masculisation of the American man seems to know no boundaries ! What kind of father , husband, etc. would be seen dead in this get-up ? Not only stupid , but soooooo terribly ugly !

    ahhhhhh I adore both of the guys outfits! what a complete tool! I can't believe what this dude had to do to get to fashion week. oh God!

    The clothes are horrible, but, the comments you made describing them had me cracking up! I am wonder if they are really serious with these unusual (and I am being nice here) styles. Like who thinks that men would wear these clothes, and where on Earth would they wear them to?? Heck, what woman would wear these and to where? This is really too funny to take seriously!

    I am sitting here with tears rolling down my face - this was hilarious!! Most of these clothes look like they came from the clearance rack at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
