To wear, or not to wear...THIS is the question

user

Make-up has been around since women have been able to grind stone and mix it with water to give their cheeks a different appearance...whether by accident or a studied science.  Either way, make-up has been the sensation of the senses for years for both women who wear it and men who are looking at the applicant.

Me personally, I like the natural girl...the less make-up she wears the better, preferring natural beauty as opposed to the cosmetic chic.  But given the right circumstances, I have been floored by women who ddo knock out make-up jobs.

My question to you is are you the type of girl who needs make-up to feel comfortable in society, about who you are in general?  Or are you more the natural type and only see it neccesary to wear on occasion?  What do you feel about make-up period?

I love what you said about Victoria Beckham! I really don't see the "sexiness" of her body, its just much too over-exposed.

I'm all-natural. I never wear make-up (LOL which explains why I always look so bad)

I am an all natural woman. I only wear make-up on special occasions and usually that is limited to colored lip gloss, eye liner and mascara. I have a great complextion and smooth skin and I would like to keep that way. I have girl griends who wear make-up everyday and all I see is that it causes major break outs and skin problems.

I'm more natural than anything, i don't like to bother with the steps and procedures of putting make up on. A simple chapstick/lip gloss combination and some smudge-proof eyeliner is as far as i go most days. There are occasions when it's nice to put a little something on but I don't mess to much with blush and concealers. It's too complicated. However I hear Bare Minerals is worth it...to not have a caked-on looking face, and it's really good for oily or sensitive skin. I'm thinking about trying it.

I'm in a humid environment, so make up slides right off by mid day. I wear a little blush, mascara, and lip gloss... one minute prep ,and I'm out the door. But I am a moisturizer/lotion freak. Lord only knows much much money I have thrown at that industry!

Ever since I ditched the liquid foundation (which is probably the culprit behind your friends breakouts DimplesDee), I love wearing makeup. I switched to mineral powder. Bare Minerals is worth it! Enough coverage to even my skin tone but not cover up my freckles......then have fun with the eye makeup! My fiance loves it when I play around with color on my eyes.

I love make-up, but I stick to simple stuff. I love lipgloss! And I love eye make-up! I like to play up my eyes, with light shadow eyeliner or mascara..because they are hazel and change with the colors I wear etc. I have been using a brozer I love it! it helps with the shine too but stays natural and doesn't feel like I am putting a layer of heavy stuff on. I have nothing to hide, why cover up! ok an occational pimple from stress I use a touch of cover up.

I hate the "mask" caked on foundation look, the only makeup i wear on a regular basis is a small amount of eyeliner and mascara to emphasize my eyes.

I only wear lipgloss. However, I must keep up with pedicures, does that count?
