Italian clothing designer Relish has just released ads which depict men dressed as police officers choking, grabbing, shoving, and sexually assaulting (note the hand up the skirt in the picture at left) two models who are wearing Relish's new line of spring clothes.
Here's my big question: How is viewing the active abuse of other women supposed to entice us into buying dresses? It doesn't make sense. Is this meant to trigger some kind of domination fetish? Do these companies believe we're all masochists and therefore—obviously—assault makes us feel sexy?
Honestly, this second image pissed me off to the point of rage.
In other news, I hate the cropped pants, the hooker-ish gold shoes, and the screaming-in-pain girl's shorts look like a diaper.
Hey, folks at Relish, this is what I think: You're a bunch of misogynistic douche bags and your designs suck.
The end.
