Too Faced Conquers The Sun With Beach-Friendly Beauty

You're prepped for a day at the beach: you've got your bikini on and your beach bag stuffed with trashy magazines, your iPod, a cute towel, and enough sunscreen to last a lifetime. Unfortunately, you're not sure if your makeup will hold up as long under the rays as you will. Don't dread drippy or disappearing makeup; Too Faced has a whole line of beach friendly beauty to keep you looking hip even after a dip.

For face, you're going to have to start early. Begin building a bronzed-goddess glow with Tanning Bed in a Tube for Face ($21.50). You'll get instant shimmer and notice a visible difference in your tan after one use, but you'll really get glowing if you use this actually decent-smelling build-a-bronze for a week. This doesn't have SPF, so we recommend applying a non-oily formula (Neutrogena makes a good one) right before you hit the sand. Keep your newly acquired glow from refracting rays (oil and sweat can be a real summer bummer!) by keeping a pack of Re-Fresh Oil Blotting Papers ($12) in your beach tote. A quick dab and it's your glowing personality—not your greasy cheeks—that will have people noticing you.

Of course, no beach babe worth her weight in buried treasure is complete without a little eye candy. Dress your lids up island style with shimmery Foiled liner ($16.50) in either emerald Metallic Mermaid or oceanic Turquoise Tinsel. Coat lashes with a stroke of Lash Injection mascara ($19.50), a huge-wanded formula that puts tiny tubes of glossy color around each and every lash. Both the liner and the mascara are waterproof and sweatproof, so you can go for a swim and still emerge from the surf looking like a million bucks.

As for your lips, keep everything where it should be by first applying Border Line Anti-Feather lip pencil ($18.50). Whether you go for a slick stick or a gleaming gloss, it'll stay put instead of getting all smudgy on you. For a splash of color, we like Status Gloss ($19.50). It's not too over the top glittery, but it provides enough shimmer to go from beach lounging to boardwalk dining feeling great.

Seriously, who wears makeup to go to the beach? I'm usually wearing 75 SPF sunscreen, not foundation, mascara and lipstick.

If I was going to pay this much for makeup, I wouldn't waste it at the beach. However, the Tanning Bed in a Tube for the face looks like a good product.

That make-up is WAY over-priced, even if I would use it to the last drop. It's just not really worth it. Besides, if I were to buy all of those things, it would be $107.50 (NOT INCLUDING TAXES!!!!!!!)!
