1. You need skirts.  Try pairing our picks with a casual tee on the weekend, or a crisp button-down for the office.

2. When it gets cooler in the country, try a pair of fresh-looking white jeans.  Our recs are all on sale, so you won’t even mind getting them a little dirty.

3. Half the fun of spending time in the sun is getting to pick out a fun bathing suit.  Try wearing a monokini in a fun print, which is this year’s newest swimwear trend.

4. Beach time to pool time to party time shouldn’t call for three outfit changes.  Get one cool cover-up, and you’ll be good to go.

5. In case a cover-up is too informal for any of your summer plans, try a safari dress.  It’s one of our all-time favorite basics.

I must disagree with two of your suggestions. First, the monokini. I have seen only a very few ladies trying to work a monokini...and none, so far, that actually succeeded. With two-piece bathing suits (not tankinis, they most emphatically do NOT hide tummy faults, quite the opposite, in fact) available in such a plethora of designs and levels of coverage, why would a sensible women want to wear this awkward style that emphasizes all but the most buff body's every mid-section fault? Many stores and catalogs offer mix and match tops and bottoms, so that anyone can decide the perfect style and fit for both halves of the body (not everyone matches lower to upper). Monokinis limit those possibilities, and when placed on a real, MOVING woman, seem to require endless adjustment, and are just generally unflattering.

And white jeans...ah, well, might we go so far as to advise ladies that proper undergarments, with adequate coverage, correct fit, and, o, neutral or matching color might be advisable under thinner, stretch denim worn very closely against the skin? Not that the alternative offends ME, but bright colored "Hello Kitty" cheekies under thin, pure white, skin-tight capris are highly visible and DO attract attention, whether desired or not, especially when the particular booty in question is bodacious. O, well, perhaps this was the point. As for me, I do not wear white in any case, and I do believe that, if I were to attempt white jeans, some eager family with a cache of home movies might start following me around with a projector, anxious for a chance to view their memories in wide screen on my butt.
