  I tried this lip stain and was not impressed. It does not have the staying power it promises. It really is like applying a felt tip marker to your lips, so for those with dry lips that need a creamier product it does not work. Great concept, but ultimately not for me.

  I bought some of this as well. I was disappointed because the "mellow" color that I purchased judging by the name and color of the tube, was not the "loud" color that stained on to my lips. I would say it has good staying power, but will definately dry your lips out. And yes it is fool proof, it is a stain, if you get some on the outside of your lips hurry and get that stuff off. Needless to say, I wasted almost 9 dollars.

  I like this stain, it stays on longer than gloss and lipstick. I does feel like a felt marker and is dry but putting lipbalm over it takes care of the problem.

  I hated this stain. When I need super staying power I use benefit benetint. All the stains dry out your lips but you apply a gloss over them and you are good to go. The CG stain colors are like crayola colors, in my opinion. They may suit someone else so to each her own.

  Absolutly hated this; it dried out my lips, and towards the end of the day nearly all the stain wore off, except for an ugly and unflattering outline around my lips. Waste of money.
