On the heels of last week's controversy, Ralph Lauren finds himself in some more drama. Another extremely photoshopped ad for the designer surfaced in a store in Sydney, Australia. This time the model is another Ralph Lauren regular, Valentina Zelyaeva. Valentina's upper body looks completely disproportionate to her lower body, her hips and legs are rail thin, and frankly look cartoonish.

Who looked at these out of proportion pictures and said "Yes that looks great" maybe they need glasses or they have a fun house mirror at home and no one ever told them it wasn't real.

How long until designers just start using Taun We (see Star Wars Ep II: Attack of the Clones if you don't know who Taun We is) in their ad campaigns?

Shame on you Ralph Lauren! Thanks for the post, Ruth. I think we all have to appreciate what women really look like - not these cartoon versions of what designers think they should be!

Absolutely ridiculous! Some little girl somewhere is looking at pictures like this and using it as "thinspiration" which is mia/ana code for pics you look at to give you inspiration to get thin! This is Dangerous! And any adult that looks at something like that and sees beauty needs a shrink! That doesn't make me want to buy his clothes ...in fact I'll probably never buy anything else Ralph Lauren. what an awful advertisement!I'm really pissed right now!
