User post: What's Your Beauty Buy Regret??
user
I went to the Beauty Supply
store this past weekend to get a new hood dryer (my old one died on
me!) and I felt inspired to do something new to my hair. I
always wear it straight down and curled under and I wanted a change
- a change that didn't require chemicals or a pony tail!
As I walked down each aisle, I stumbled on this plastic curling
rods. I imagined my hair in these cute spiral curls that
would look awesome in my hair. I snatched them up, along with
my hair dryer and rushed home to try them out.
After washing and deep conditioning my hair, I got ready to use
these rods. I open them up and there are no
instructions!! How in the world am I supposed to use these
things?? How would they stay in my hair?? There
wasn't anything to hold them in! After a few fruitless
attempts, I stashed these bad boys away and resorted to my usual
wet wrap. I definitely suffered a Beauty Buy Regret!

Was it a Sally's?? IF so, go back in. and ask the sales girl what is the best thing to use. SOme rollers need clips to hold them in place.
( I used to work at a Sally's, so I know there are tons of different rollers. ) Some are easy enough. Some can be a pain in the butt.

Mostly with Aldo shoes! The fit of their shoes can vary greatly from one style to another. I try them in the store and their fine. But, once I wear them the fit is painfully off. I have have a pair of shoes, I recently brought and need to return. The outlets and end of season sales get me every time.

I have a tendency to buy crazy eye shadow colors, because I imagine how great I'll look in them. Then, after I put one on, I always end up removing it. I just look like a little girl trying to play dress up.

P.S. Are you loving the Olay products? I'm really digging that under the eye stick thing.

Used to get screwed every time I purchased a Mabelline mascara product. Never again!

I always buy these pretty eyeshadows thinking they'll show up great and then they don't even show up at all. At the most I get a little sparkle on my eye since all drugstore brands have glitter in them (at least the cheaper ones.) So then I got this giftcard for mineral makeup and I love it: http://www.healthbeautyncs.com/rd_p?p=191614&t=9530&a=29438-smakeup&gift=29438

Biggest beauty blunder was purchasing an at home wax kit some time ago. It seemed 'gentle', 'painfree', and 'easy to use'. I figured why not? No way. After slathering the goo on my legs and pulling one strip I didn't have the courage to finish! Messy and painful. It stayed in the back of the cabinet for the day I figured I would be brave enough to try it...1 year later I finally threw it out! haha!

I regret letting my boobs get big..... strapless bras or no bras..... just don't work with all shirts and it sucks!!!! I hate being limited to what I can wear.
