WANTED: My Little Black Dress

I, like mostly every girl out there, have that one black cotton dress that is the perfect throw on for the days you just can't get it together in the morning. I have paired this dress with a vest, long necklaces, short necklaces, flat sandals, high heels...the list goes on. This dress can easily be dressed up or down and be worn for work or play. You know the one I'm talking about! I'm not sure what happened, but I cannot seem to find mine. I've looked through the racks and racks of dresses I own and it is no where to be found. I get so sad when this happens and now I'm on the hunt for a replacement (if that is possible).

Help me choose one! Here's what I've got my eye on...will they measure up? How much would you pay for a new little black dress?

The second one seems like the most versatile, but 3rd one is more to my liking since I rarely go sleeveless.

Love the ruffle dress, however, it might be to special for an "everyday dress." The last one is probably best for that.

I like the AE dress the best - because I think it'd provide the most flattering shape. I loathe shift dresses and empire waist dresses because the waist is totally lost and it's too easy to look large, frumpy and shapeless in them. For your other choices - you actually have to stand like the models do - crooked, with your hip jutting out - or wear a belt - in order to have some semblance of a figure.
