We Thought Thigh Highs Were Only Okay For Halloween

I recently saw a style I thought was an early Halloween costume at first: black thigh highs and tiny bottoms. Sure, it was Heidi Montag who was wearing them, but then I saw Vanessa Hudgens and America ’s Next Top Model’s Caridee English wearing them too. Are we witnessing a trend emerge? And, if so, aren't our thighs going to get cold?

Bare Necessities offers both a seductive dotted pair from Wolford ($68) and a bunch of bright, opaque options by HUE ($8), while American Apparel’s striped thigh high ($15) is more sporty.

So tell us… would you or wouldn’t you? Is this a good way to transition to fall or does it only "work" for the celebutantes of Hollywood ? Check out even more thigh-high options first if you're still not sure.

thigh highs were uber-popular when I was in middle school (high school class of '97) All of my friends wore them and they were especially cute with roller skates...hahaha... this is no new trend... just the ever-revolving circle of fashion just as stretch jeans, bell bottoms and jorts have come and gone...

Pretty cute. Although I am not sure if I will get to that trend this year. If you want to know how to keep your legs warm wear flash colored stalkings with the thigh highs (old catholic school uniform trick.)

I have to say im really digging the bright pink ones but i have a black pair that i wear with a gray mini dress too so maybe its not the thigh highs but the black-thigh-highs-with-gray-minis movement.lol just a thought.

well i am in high school right now and i would not even wear this (but i am a tomboy) but not even any one of my friends would wear them so they just need to stay out of the circle of fashion

Hell yeah, bring back the 90's flannels and grunge, but please...please...don't bring back mid-drifts and daisy dukes. Some people look great in them, but for some reason the people that look gross in them always seem to be the ones we find wearing them out to places. GO 90's.
