I wanted to put my perfume in my purse so I would smell fresh when I picked my husband at the airport, well then I said the perfume shouldn't be in the purse...whatever...then I wondered do we all women have the same kind of things in our purse? Like lipstick, small mirror, the drivers license, of course...Or maybe moms on the go have more diapers and babies bottle in their purse?
What do you have in your purse? Are there any must haves or not?

Report AbuseWhat a fun question! I am one of those people that it takes an Act of Congress to get me to throw things away. When I was younger, I stuck my driver's license and money in a pocket and went on about my business. As I got older and things in my junk drawers were overflowing and my pockets started bulging out, I knew it was time to give in to the "dreaded purse carrier". I have been carrying purses now for ten years. It started out with the clutch, small handbags, and last year I received a large handbag from my Mom, she said "You still try to stuff your pockets, why not carry a larger purse?" Now I have a closet full of: brimming purses. Everyone of them have junk in them! (I even have money and loose change in most of them.) My current purse has hundreds of shopping receipts, three bank books, my wallet with ID and credit cards, a photo wallet, Fire Balls, two packs of gum, butterscotch buttons, root beer barrels, one body spray and three bottles of perfume, lipstick, eyebrow pencil, mascara, two lip balms, barrettes, two pair of toddler socks, 19 gift cards still in the gift envelope (why I haven't used them I don't know), two copies of map quest directions, three warranty service contracts, 14 different style ink pens, three Post-It pads, two pair of sunglasses, and a ton of change. I just cleaned it out recently, LOL.

I have lipstick, candy, money, DL, checkbook, visa card, KY (oops), my babies pix, a dvd, and all the things I would need to escape from some tv land style kidnappers ... LOL!

If the purse is big enough I also carry a flip flop shoes!

Report AbuseWell I dont have a purse, but I have a wallet. Let see, whats in my wallet....picutes of my kids, credit cards, some of those VIP card like from CVS, safeway,. etc... Insurance cards. Nothing exciting in my wallet, maybe a condom. Hang in there.

I carry coupons, lip gloss, first-aid ket, tweezers, nail clippers, allergy meds for kids, kleenex, Ibuprophen, antacids, pens, paper, wallet, lotion, Tide stick, feminine protection, condom, small mirror, small knife, paper clips. Kinda of girl scout I guess.
