What Kind Of Underwear Wearer Are You?
partner
I happened to call my friend
Iman in LA last night as she was running to the
Only Hearts store to stock up on
lingerie.
Turns out it's something of a uniform for her—she swears by
their Second Skins line and wears it daily ("pretty yet
super-comfortable and totally disappears under whatever you have
on" she says).
The sexiest lingerie looks right now.
She also acknowledged her compulsion for matching undergarments, a
concept I find kind of fascinating, if only because I'm the
complete opposite and have never coordinated undies a day in my
life. To me it sounds like a lot of effort/extra laundry (does
anyone really
wash a
bra after every wear?), though Iman's formula is this: for
every one
bra,
she buys 4 pairs of underwear (3
boy
shorts and 1
thong
to be exact). Now I'm curious: what about the rest of you? Do
you guys go the matchy-matchy lingerie route or are you content
mixing things up?
Shopping Tip: Check out our favorite websites to shop for lingerie
and loungewear.

Who ever sees them? I do match however, but I buy basic colors
black with black, you get the idea. There are pretty things
out there, with a pretty price tag to match and for what, no
body sees them. And if you're single and dating men dont care.
Naked is their favorite color, heck even if you're married
naked is still the fav. I have to wear them so I go for comfort
for everyday.

I'm more worried about whether or not my underwear shows through my clothes than whether or not they match each other, but I do admit that if by sheer coincidence I throw on the black lacy bra and black panties, I feel a little sexier.
And hell yes I wash my bra after each wear-you excrete more sweat and bacteria and shed more skin cells than you think. If you wash a mini-load of bras in the gentle cycle with Woolite and let them air dry, they still last a long time and you have the comfort of knowing that they are clean!

Don't wear any, unless I am wearing a dress. And I am sure some folks out there in shineland think that is gross. I sure did back in the day. But, to each his /her own. I personally thing thongs are silly. I never liked have to pull regular ole panties out of my vertical smile, so, would never intentionally wear something that fit right up in there. LOL!!

I wud love to have matchin underwear but it's too much work for me.....i feel like i wud have to spend a lot of money just to have enough bras b/c it's easy to find matching underwear cuz it doesn't have to come form the same store....i do have a few matching sets but it wasn't on purpose......i applaud those of us who take the time to match their undies....

I buy stuff that matches but there's no guarantee that I'll wear them matching lol. I like having matching stuff it makes me feel sexier (silly I know) but if I don't match it doesn't break my heart.

I used to wear matching stuff when I was smaller, but now I'm a 30G so black, white, and nude are my bra color choices (so boring). To offset this I wear whatever color I feel like with it. My bf isn't crazy about it b/c he has this idea that women match when they want to have sex, but oh well. Once in a while I will happen to match.

im pretty small on top, so if im not wearing a white or light colored shirt then i go bra-less. and when i do wear a bra i really dont care if it matches my undies.

My underwear always have to look like it's a set. It doesn't mean that it matches, but it goes together. I am quite the picky one and like nice underwear (love La Perla, but can't really afford it), but I have my sources to get what I like (buy it in Europe in bulk online twice or three times a year). I like lacy panties and push up bras, that look glamorous and hot. I don't know if my hubby notices, actually I doubt it, but I just love to have nice undies on, just for myself. I own over 50 bras and tons of thongs.

I confess, I wear Granny pants. I want to be comfortable. I don't have the body type for bikini like stuff, so I just wear whatever is comfortable!!!!! I wear mostly white, very little colored underwear.

I like to match, but don't always manage to do so. However, I do NOT wear beige, nude or white bras or undies. Those are my mother's colors, thank you very much, and I was forced to bow to her will and wear hideous tricot bras (I went from nothing to B cups at the age of ten) and granny panties in seamed, lumpy, boring white for years. Shudder. I LOVE colors, especially brights. No seams, or padding, or lace (I have uber-sensitive skin and lace rubs and gives me a rash). I wear VS Body by Victoria or VS Cotton in a 36DD underwire, unlined. I shop the clearances and sales and have a glorious good time finding off dye lots in fascinating hues. As for panties, boy shorts and cheekies under jeans (I do not care for butt-floss) feel good, and my husband loves them. High leg panties under dresses and skirts (I don't wear anything form-fitting except jeans) or commando (yep, when it's hot, my nurse-practioner says it's best) under anything lined sufficiently to not offend TOO much (of course, if yer lookin", it's YOUR problem). I wash everything after each wearing, bras, undies, jeans, tees, etc. It's HOT down here, and I have always been one to perspire profusely. I also have very oily skin, which not only will discolor my clothing if I don't wash frequently, but has a definite scent that, left to linger, becomes musky and unpleasant and clings to my clothing. Sometimes I change my clothes twice a day to feel clean, especially when the temps are in triple digits. Yes, my husband notices my underwear, even if he does like to remove it rather sooner than later. Lingerie has it's own mystique.
