What they wore to the Golden Globes: The Pretty

Last night's Golden Globes show was not what you'd call the
most revelatory in fashion history. In fact, if you lined up all of
the dresses together, with few exceptions, you would've wound
up with some kind of sparkly Oreo. Most women opted for black,
white, or metallic. Most of dresses were floor length and strapless
or one shouldered. Most of the hair was slicked back, with the
exception of when it was down and wavy. See what I'm saying?
Nothing revolutionary. But there were a few looks that we loved, a
few instances where the women looked strong and pretty and
glamorous in the best possible way. Check out my favorite dresses
above, I'll be rounding up
the confusing and sad outfits later in the day.

Report AbuseYeah, I disagree with you on Cameron Diaz's look. I hate the dress—it's doesn't go with her skin tone at all, and her hair looks awful! I do agree with you about Eva Langoria, though. Generally I don't like her. I don't watch Desperate Housewives, I've never seen her movies, and I just don't get her appeal at all. But I love that dress! I also really like the dress Miley wore. She looks like a Renaissance princess or something. Very beautiful.
I'm sorry I missed the Globes. I had intended to watch. I even had the TV on that channel all through the pre-show, but I just didn't have time to sit there and watch.

Report AbuseAre you serious Shine?! Are you for real?! I agreed with everything up until Cameron Diaz. Her dress was hideous, the color was bad, the cut was worse and as usual she didn't comb that mop on her head. As such a pretty woman she always look like she got dressed in the car on the way to the show and her hair was done while the car was still in motion. Awful!

Last night, at around 2:37, when I was finishing up this gallery, I think I suffered from some kind of coffee-and-takeout-food induced temporary insanity. In the light of day, I realized that Cameron Diaz dress is very wrong and you are right.
