Resist the temptation to choose bright, look-at-me leg warmers, and pick a textured black or dark gray pair instead. Slip them on over super opaque tights for a warm base. Tuck your tights/leg warmers combo into a pair of flat riding boots, and make sure your leg warmers sticking out the top and are properly scrunched. Above the waist, we suggest a simple smocked skirt and loose fitting blouse that’s elegant enough to dress up the look.
