When bored, Angie draws tattoos on Brad

Here I thought drawing tattoos someone was the kind of thing that goes down when people are wasted at a party, but Angelina claims she and Brad "do" each other when they're bored. Entertainment Weekly just scored a "candid Q & A" with the actress to promote her new film, Wanted, and one of the scintillating omissions is that when asked about Brad's new tattoo (which some reporters have speculated that one of the kids drew on his back, ha), she reveals herself to be the culprit:

What's the deal with Brad's new tattoo?

I drew that. We went to Davos. It's not that we were bored at the World Economic Forum, but one night we didn't have anything to do, so I was drawing on his back.

So it's not permanent?

It is. But I was just sketching.

On him?
On him, yeah.

And you thought, ''Let's make it a tattoo''?

He just liked it! The picture everybody saw was kind of awkward, but it just lines up beautifully on his back, just enhances the part of the body I like.

So it doesn't mean anything per se.

I mean, it's meaningful in that it's us making angles and shapes out of each other's body, that kind of a thing.

I thought the whole point was that it was supposed to represent levees in New Orleans, but what the heck do I know? On another note though, what the heck is up with the photos of her in this issue? How ya gonna make one of the (arguably) most beautiful women in the world look not so great? I mean, I get that big shot photogs like Mario Testino and Mert and Marcus aren't available for EW jobs, but still... Sue 'em Ange!

Ugly picture of a beautiful woman. But...at least the photographer tried to do something different, without going all faux sensual ala Annie Lebowitz. Admittidly I have not seen the inside photos...

I have a subscription to Entertainment Weekly and the photos on the inside of the magazine look like the cover shot. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the picture was unflattering. I really don't need to see every pore on her face. I thought the tattoo thing was kind of weird too. Why would anybody deface their body with a bunch of meaningless doodles?
