  Yay!! I think it's totally fine to slick on a little gloss in public. It's better than picking your nose -- which I totally catch people doing in public!!

  It all depends on the environment where you are. I'm in college and I see a lot of girls apply their makeup in the middle of the lecture/classroom. If I'm rushing from home, I will take my makeup bag, run, and apply it in the car (mind you, i get a ride most mornings- don't style & drive!) or in a bathroom at school. I think it's a little weird to apply your makeup in the middle of nowhere, but if you have a big emergency, then obviously try to fix it as soon as possible.

  When it comes to lip balm/lip gloss I don't think that's a big deal. I apply lip balm like it's my job during classes, in the hallway, etc. :P

  Personally I don't care, as I am not one to reapply during the day.... The only time I care when someone is doing their make up is if they are driving.... Just the other day I say a girl curling her eyelashes while sitting at a stop light... that to me is unacceptible... anything else and I don't care either way.

  I'm gonna go with a big NAY on this one. Even though it isn't a gross thing to do, I think it's a little too personal to do at the table. I mean, you wouldn't pop a zit at the table would you? Or brush your teeth. It's not an emergency to reapply your lipstick "right now." Just go to the bathroom.

  Something else NOT to do 'at the table?' Blowing your nose. Please do not do this. I find this very common with the elderly (but not exclusive.) This is definitely something you need to leave the table and go to the bathroom for. I find it very offensive, inappropriete, and absolutely discusting.

  I think colorless lip gloss or chapstick is okay. Anything else should be saved for the restroom. This includes body spray and perfume. A coworker in a nearby cube smokes and sprays her body spray at her desk when she comes back in from a break. Even if the stuff smells good it is still rude and classless, as many people(myself included)have fragrance allergies and the smell becomes overpowering even for those who don't.

  i apply eyeliner lipgloss n compact in public. who has time to go to the bathroom all the time. thats why everything has mirrors duh!

  I personally dont care, but some people go overboard applying their "whole face" in public. Yuck!
