Question of the day: Are there guys you'd rather cuddle than hook up with?

Our Sex + Love editor Erin Flaherty wrote earlier this week about "cuddle parties," an increasingly-popular non-sexual slumber party where you and a bunch of folks who you may or may not know lay around snuggle each other. It's intended to be a way to get a little quality affection without all the nakedness and such.

Erin's question on her post was whether or not these cuddle fests are cute or creepy. For my part, I'm a little skeeved out by the whole thing, but mainly because I find the act of cuddling pretty intimate. If I'm going to cuddle with someone, he's probably someone I'm at least attracted to if not downright ready to get busy with.

So, this got me thinking: Is there even such a guy who I'd ever just want to cuddle?

Honestly, I can't think of one. But I know that it really takes all kinds in this crazy world of ours. So I put that question out to you, ladies of Shine. Are there guys you know who you'd happily rather cuddle and never actually hook up with? And if so, would you hold your own cuddle party just to get your snuggle on with said dude?

    WOW AND WHY!!!!!! lord help them NO AND NO WAY IN H___ would I snuggle with some one I dont even know. Yuck and grosy blah barf. Sorry I am in my 30's and I know I sound like I am about ten but WOW... Some boy started this and just wanted to feel some hot gals up. thats all there is to it.

    sometimes when i'm away with my friends and we're with her boyfriend and his friends i want that feeling of me knowing that someone else wants me. Cuddling with someone else makes me feel that. But also at the same time it makes me feel guilty

    I have a guy I see who just likes to cuddle. But it's kinda weird. He is married so I'm being bad, but initially he told me single and I can't quit seeing him. I like the fact that I know one guy who likes to see me without asking for sex. But cuddling is so intimate and he's so attractive, that I always wanna have sex with him. I and we get really worked up, but he has amazing restraint. We did do it once when I kinda forced myself on him and it took less than a minute so maybe he was embarassed because I'd already informed him that I prefer men with stamina. But we have cuddled now like 7 times. I don't really know why I keep seeing him, I know it's wrong morally but he's so sweet and loving. Feel free to give me advice. I have left mad many times and told myself I wouldn't see him again but I always do except once when he calls a few months later and is in town. Does anyone know why he would keep doing this? I need advice.
