Report AbuseWelcome to the good ol' USA! She is allowed her opinion, no matter how much others disagree. And to be honest, apparently we, as a nation, are not that ready for a woman president. Do you see Clinton still in the running? Free speech is just that. I saw the episode, laughed hysterically at that moment and the other girl's face. Her thoughts didn't phase me much other than how funny it all was. Would I force her to not say those things, no. Free speech rights, but you choose what comes out of your mouth and how it affects your image. So either Brooke likes to appear ditzy or VH1 is really laying it on and editing it down to that for publicity purposes.
What I think was more offending on that episode was Mom Hogan's butt hanging out of her bikini bottoms and a full on shot of it. Gross! Why wasn't that edited out?

Yes, America does have free speech so if we give idiots like Brooke Hogan a forum to express their misguided opinions then we have to tolerate listening to them. The disturbing thing is that impressionable young girls are influenced by dim bulbs like Brooke Hogan. Why don't we just forget the fact that women like Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, and Lucretia Mott fought hard so that women today have the right to vote. Men used to think that women were too stupid and emotional to vote. Brooke Hogan is reaping the benefits of everything women have done in the last century towards reaching equality. If it weren't for "emotional" women, she wouldn't have an opportunity to vent her ignorant misguided opinions on television.
